The Water Protects The Protectors. Mni Wiconi!

The water of life.  Mni Wiconi.   Yesterday, it gave back.  She became the protector of our heroes as they fled from the forces that sought to hurt them and arrest them.   The Oceti Sakowin camp eviction

“Inyan Wakan Kagapi Wakpa”  – “River Where the Sacred Stones are Made”, or it’s colonial name, the Cannonball River thanked the protectors for months of prayer and love as it provided the perfect escape route across its frozen body.
